A QR (Quick Response) code is a two-dimensional barcode that stores text, URLs, contact details, Wi-Fi credentials and more in a grid of black and white squares. Modern phone cameras can read them instantly, making QR codes a convenient way to bridge the physical and digital worlds.
This generator encodes whatever text or URL you enter into a standard QR code at your chosen error-correction level — L, M (default), Q or H. Higher levels survive more damage but hold less text: byte capacity runs from about 2,953 bytes at L down to about 1,273 bytes at H, and oversized text is rejected with a clear message rather than silently truncated. You can choose the output size from 128 to 512 pixels, and download the result as a PNG image for printing or sharing. The code is generated entirely in your browser.
For the most reliable scans, keep your content concise — very long text produces dense codes that are harder to read. URLs should be fully qualified (including https://). If you're printing the code, use a size of at least 2 cm square and leave some quiet margin around it.
